We also appreciate the scale of its operations, with at least three additional facilities across the state of Johor. That said, we do wish TCSB were more transparent about its certifications, similar to how competitors display theirs on their official websites.

One unexpected twist in this list is Singuan Blasting in Selangor. Unlike the others, this company has been manufacturing custom sandblasting machinery since 1997.
Sin-Blast® began as a small operation and steadily grew by staying true to its mission. It met client expectations through continuous innovation while maintaining quality and reliability.
Today, Sin-Blast® is the trusted name in industrial blasting equipment, such as automated rooms, turntables, and other specialised tools. It also supplies abrasives like aluminum oxide, glass beads, melamine (plastic), garnet, and steel shot.

Another unexpected entry on our list is Rotowell in Penang. This company has been around since 1993.
Rotowell is often seen as simply a supplier of metal surface finishing materials such as grinding wheels, polishing machines, and abrasive compounds in the region—and it’s true. However, that’s just the surface (pun intended) of what it actually does.
Turns out that the company is also a capable service provider that can carry out sandblasting work on behalf of clients. We’re surprised to discover Rotowell is far more versatile and rooted in the industry than initially expected.
Rotowell’s client base is impressive as well, spanning aerospace, automotive, electrical, metal forming, oil & gas, solar, and shipbuilding industries, among others, making it a reputable supplier and contractor.
That’s a combination of services we’re glad to have found out. We don’t know the exact reasons why Rotowell favours the former over the latter, but we hope for the company’s continued growth.

Sinar Trans is an umbrella company made up of both engineering and coating subsidiaries. It’s also one of the youngest names in our list, having been established only in 2014.
Sinar Trans focuses on the power, shipbuilding, and manufacturing industries. Its sandblasting activities fit right in its coating business (Sinar Trans Coating), which helps supply and prepare clean construction materials.
Despite its young corporate age, Sinar Trans sets itself apart from other companies by having an office in Dubai, UAE. Being in a significant maritime hub home to one of the largest ship repair docks in that part of the world, its international presence is admirable.
However, what really impressed us the most was the company’s transparency and commitment to safety.
