Say Cheese Cafe has become a regular for us in Bukit Jalil, and it’s easy to see why. The nasi lemak is a standout, with fluffy, coconut-infused rice and quality anchovies, paired with a balanced sambal.
We also love the ribs—juicy, well-marinated, and the chef’s explanation of the process adds a personal touch. Desserts, though, don’t always match their looks, which is a small letdown.
Prices here are on the higher side, but we think the quality ingredients justify the cost, and you can truly taste the difference. The ambiance is inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings or birthdays.

“For those who is concern of food diet. This is another good option for you. You have a wide selection to match and still not over eaten.
Including gluten free dessert. I tried gula melaka cake, not too sweet and fragrance with coconuts shreds.
Vegetarian meat ball with eggs eaten with garlic bread, portion is just nice for me. Chicken chop is one of their signature. Delicious.

JP & CO wins us over with its cosy, welcoming atmosphere and its extensive menu that brings together Western, local, and Japanese flavours. The space has a warm and inviting vibe, ideal for catching up with friends or having a casual family meal.
We love the salmon benedict on sourdough with a perfectly poached egg and the berry waffles, both fresh and flavorful.
For something heartier, the beef broth noodle soup surprised us with its deep, flavorful broth and generous servings of beef slices and beef stomach—definitely worth a try.
The service is attentive, which we appreciate. Plus, the decor is simple yet elegant, making it ideal for a relaxed meal.
On the downside, the prices are a little high. Nonetheless, the cosy setting and quality ingredients make it worth the splurge.

Asuka Pavilion is our peaceful go-to for a laid-back coffee break or quiet meal. The minimalist decor creates a calm atmosphere, perfect for unwinding, especially on quieter weekday afternoons.
The food choices here are limited, but the unique flavours make up for it—like the cheesy bagel paired with fragrant tomato soup, which is rich, comforting, and perfect for a cosy meal.
The drinks are equally interesting; we tried the pineapple bitter gourd kombucha, which is surprisingly smooth and refreshing without any bitterness!
Also, the Queen waffle is a popular dessert here, though it’s a bit on the sweet side, so keep that in mind if you don’t have a big sweet tooth. Service here is pretty hands-off; it’s self-service when it comes to water refills, which adds to the quiet, undisturbed vibe.
We think it’s a great spot for getting some work done as there’s plenty of seating to choose from.

Scoby Cafe is a cosy, pet-friendly gem with a creative menu and minimalistic vibe. Breakfast here is a highlight for us; their pulled beef egg Benedict, served on homemade sourdough, is full of flavour and pairs perfectly with their specialty coffees.
Speaking of coffee, we tried their “Dirty,” a chilled coffee without ice, which was refreshing and unique. The Ultraman crab pasta and coffee lemonade also add playful twists to their fusion menu.
Staff are friendly, and the vibe is laid-back, adding to the overall good experience of our visit. We did notice though that it can get busy around lunch.
Another plus is that pets are welcome, so it’s perfect for animal lovers! Overall, we love this spot for a casual, welcoming brunch or a chill afternoon.

We’re big fans of the waffles with butter and maple syrup, a simple yet comforting dish that always hits the spot. Their tiramisu and lattes are also top-notch, and we love the coffee art they do here—it’s a nice touch that makes each cup feel special.
Staff are attentive, refilling water without needing a prompt, which we appreciate. Prices are a bit high, but the serene setting makes up for it—a great spot for an afternoon catch-up with friends or a quiet solo escape.
