Everything You Need to Know about the KL Forest Eco Park

Welcome to the KL Forest Eco Park

The KL Forest Eco Park is nestled right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at Jalan Raja Chulan. It’s basically the city’s green lung, serving up a slice of nature with a side of spectacular city views.

This is where you can go trekking through lush greenery, spot local wildlife, or just chill in tree houses—all with the iconic KL Tower looming overhead.

Where is the KL Forest Eco Park?

The KL Forest Eco Park is cozily tucked at the base of the mighty Menara KL Tower. It’s bordered by Jalan Raja Chulan on one side, and then you’ve got Bukit Nanas Street adding to the mix.

Essentially, if you find yourself under the shadow of the tower or dodging the buzz of Jalan Raja Chulan, just know that this green retreat is practically waving at you.

How to Get to the KL Forest Eco Park

Closest subway stop: If you’re cool with the train, hop on the LRT and bail at the Dang Wangi LRT Station. From there, you’re just a short stroll away from your jungle adventure in the city.

Closest bus stop: Now, if buses are more your jam, look for the ones chilling at the Bukit Nanas Monorail Station. It’s pretty much a hop, skip, and a jump from the park.

Alternatively, if you’re already the exploring type, wandering around Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), you could just walk! It’ll take you about 15 to 20 minutes, tops.

These trails are perfect to get lost in nature (not literally, though) and disconnect for a while. Plus, who knows what wildlife you might bump into?

Just a heads up: there’s this one section with a ladder that’s pretty tricky to navigate, so you’ll want to wear something comfy.

These guys are pretty cool, each with their own quirks, so keep your snacks tightly packed unless you’re into sharing. It’s a fantastic way to learn directly from experts about the wildlife calling this urban forest home.

Just remember, these monkeys are wild, so enjoy watching them from a distance.

Nothing beats a good old-fashioned picnic, especially when you’re surrounded by the kind of greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of a bustling city.

The park has these designated areas where you can lay down your picnic spread, and it’s all about good vibes and green views. And because of that, it would be great to just stay here all day and night.

But hey, just to set the record straight, you can chill here for the day—just until the sun dips because the park’s not for overnight stays.
