We’ve heard of Ken Chan Production because they covered our friend’s wedding back in 2019 and it has been on our radar ever since. Intrigued by their output, we delved further and checked their gallery, and we were further impressed!
For starters, we appreciate their creative vision, as they’re able to create beautiful shots that add a more cinematic feel to their wedding coverage. On top of that, they also do a great job at colour-correcting clips.
Moreover, they’re also equipped with the latest high-tech cameras to take the clearest videos. They even have a drone that they can use to create establishing shots of the venue, which is great if you’re having a beach wedding.
One thing we do want to note, however, is that they can sometimes be hard to reach, but that’s probably because of the high volume of inquiries they receive per day. You may have to call them weeks or even months in advance to book their team.

Omelette immediately caught our attention when we saw their Instagram page. Right off the bat, we were in awe of their creative shots, especially their drone shots, which instantly made the videos look more cinematic.
One of the things that makes Omelette stand out from the competition is its selection of in-depth coverage packages. These include 10-hour services, their chosen cinematographers and assistants and pen drives where you’ll find soft copies of their edits.
They also offer pre-wedding packages that include premium fine-art albums of over 35 photos as well as all their soft copies, which is pretty neat!
Moreover, we appreciate that they have an in-house hair and makeup team to make things more convenient for clients.
Our only gripe with Omelette is their above-average rates, but then again, we can’t knock on it too much considering the quality of their work and their offerings.

One of the things we love about RC Studio is their vision. They take small details into account and make it a subject for one of their clips for same-day edits.
For instance, we notice that they tend to capture close-up shots of hands, rings and even tears running down a groom’s face. At the same time, we appreciate how they can take breathtaking shots like establishing shots of the wedding venue via drone shots.
However, we did notice that their style is a bit repetitive upon checking their work. We’re not saying that there’s anything wrong with their aesthetic, but it would be nice to have some variety.

Motion in Style has been around for more than 10 years and since then, they’ve been slowly building up an impressive resume. It doesn’t take more than five clicks to see their impressive selection of previous projects on their website and almost all of them are picturesque.
One of the things we appreciated about their portfolio is that they almost had different styles and we weren’t alone in thinking this. Some of their previous clients highlighted how the crew members would listen to their ideas and do their best to stick by their vision.
Also, from what we’ve got during our interviews with their past clients, we can say that Motion in Style is a blast to work with. For instance, one of their previous clients noted how the crew’s energy was infectious and they appreciated their passion for making their wedding film.
However, we do wish that they could provide a more in-depth description of what their wedding videography package includes down to the cameras that they would use in the coverage. This way, clients can get an idea of what they can expect from their services before calling.

KOA Production wowed us with their previous projects, as they looked like high-budget films taken by state-of-the-art cameras. What’s even better is that they actually charge reasonable rates for their services!
Another one of our favourite things about KOA Production is their great communication skills. From what we’ve observed, the team provides clients with a quick rundown of their services on the same day of their wedding to give them an idea of what to do and expect.
We also appreciate that they’re able to communicate their rates clearly and provide full transparency. This way, clients can know what they’re paying for and assess whether or not their services are worth the fees they’re charging.
One thing they could improve upon is having an official website. Granted that they regularly update their official Facebook and Instagram accounts with their latest projects, it would be nice to have a website to check out where clients can take a look at their offered services.
