1. Seoul Garden

Phone: +60397795485
Business Hours: Monday to Sunday – 11:30 AM to 10 PM
Seoul Garden has been around for more than four decades, and it’s easy to see why it’s still one of the go-to halal Korean BBQ spots in Kuala Lumpur. The moment you walk in, that familiar aroma of sizzling meats hits you—a mix of sweet bulgogi and spicy lamb that could make anyone’s stomach growl!
Their smoleless grill setup keeps the air surprisingly clear, even when every table’s loaded with seafood, beef, and chicken. We super love the variety here because you get to pick from a long list of marinated meats and seafood.
You can also enjoy their kimchi, japchae, and even local favourites like teh tarik to go with your meal. The staff are attentive and quick to help if your grill starts misbehaving or your soup runs low.
However, one thing that needs improvement is the labeling on the buffet counter—some items didn’t match the names on the tags, which can be confusing if you’re particular about what you eat.

The place is Muslim-owned, so you can dine without second thoughts about ingredients or preparation. Every dish that came out looked fresh and vibrant, especially the grilled beef and chicken: juicy, flavourful, and marinated just right.
The service here deserves credit too. The staff handle most of the grilling at your table, so you can sit back and focus on the eating part, which is honestly the best part.
The food arrived quickly, and everything from the sauces to the condiments tasted thoughtfully prepared.
That said, prices lean toward the higher side compared to other halal Korean BBQ spots, though the quality makes up for it.
If you value good service, clean presentation, and authentic flavour, it’s definitely worth the splurge!

Their chicken platter stood out the most: tender meat with crispy skin, perfectly seasoned and paired with seaweed-coated rice balls that were surprisingly addictive. Even their steamed egg with cheese was a hit—creamy, fluffy, and full of flavour.
The overall dining experience feels genuine, thanks to the attentive staff and small details like offering hair ties to diners. The restaurant doesn’t serve pork or alcohol, making it a great choice for Muslim diners who still want an authentic Korean BBQ feel.
The only drawback is the parking situation—it can be quite competitive during peak hours, so plan to arrive a little earlier to avoid circling the area.
