Babyland Malaysia is a go-to shop for parents (us included), and one of the reasons for this is because of its impressive selection of baby products. For starters, they offer a wide variety of feeding and nursing essentials like milk warmers, bottles, sterilisers and more.
At the same time, they also offer a myriad of formulas and food, making them a great one-stop shop for all baby needs. We were also impressed by their clothing items, which don’t only include baby clothes but maternity wear as well!
It also helps that they carry well-known brands that have great track records in the industry like Philips, Hegen, Aveeno and more.
One of my favourite things about shopping here is the customer service, as the store is equipped with welcoming and knowledgeable staff. We love how they’re always eager to help with a smile and even provide insights whenever I’m undecided about a specific product.
The only problem we have with this particular store is that their AC tends to be broken at times, which could ruin the shopping experience for potential shoppers.
5 Stars for Diana and Babyland
“Diana was very helpful in getting me ready as a first-time mom. Walk me through everything from items for postpartum to the baby’s needs.
We really appreciate she took the time to help us with deciding what is needed and what can only be decided once the baby is here. 5 stars for Diana and Babyland”

Perfect Baby Store is widely praised by Penangites because of its vast offerings. They sell everything a parent may need from baby strollers to car seats to bottles, sterilizers and more.
The best part about this is that they often hold regular sales throughout the year, allowing parents to save money without cutting back on quality. Plus, the brands they carry here are some of the most reputable names in the industry like Chicco, Philips and Hegen.
The biggest highlight here is their customer service, as their staff members are praised for being super friendly, patient and helpful. A previous client of theirs told us that the saleslady assisted them with care during their shopping experience and even provided insightful recommendations.
Our only gripe with this store is that it lacks an official website apart from its verified Facebook page. Also, in this day and age, not having an online shop where customers can conveniently purchase their products is a huge missed opportunity.
Exceptionally friendly, patient and knowledgeable
“The staff members were exceptionally friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about all of the products and their functions. The store’s extended hours were very convenient.
I would like to commend Jessica for her excellent customer service; she was always willing to assist me with anything I needed.”
— Francis Soo, Google Review
Really amazing
“This shop is really amazing; I should have visited earlier. The experience here is far better than visiting the baby fair. We got to compare different models and brands in one short visit, with excellent explanations and guidance from Mrs. Ann.
To all soon-to-be parents in the Penang region, this place will definitely clear your doubts and help you a lot in starting your wonderful parenting journey!”

Very Important Baby is a one-stop shop for both mothers and babies. It offers a myriad of baby essentials from formulas to vitamins, baths and skincare, allowing shoppers to leave their store with everything they need.
What we love the most about this store, however, is that they offer mummy essentials as well, which I and a lot of customers appreciate greatly. From maternity clothes to milk boosters and supplements, they offer a great variety of these mummy must-haves.
We also appreciate that the store offers a wide range of baby gear like strollers and car seats, all of which are carried by reputable brands. Plus, they also offer pieces of equipment that can help develop a child’s sensory skills like tricycles and walkers.
The only thing we’re not fans of is their WhatsApp channel, which is where they offer their products online. Sometimes, they’re not as responsive, which can lead to shoppers forcefully visiting their store in either Sri Rampai or Setapak.
Will definitely come back again!
“Bought our stroller there today. Shop attendant Mirza is very helpful and patient while helping us look for a stroller that suits us best. We chose for almost an hour and he’s with us all the time, laying all our questions and demo requests.
The shop also has a variety of baby food to choose from, we will definitely come back again!”

Right off the bat, we realised that My Lovely Baby’s main advantage over other baby stores in the area is its affordable prices. Furthermore, we were impressed when we learned from one of their staff members that they hold regular discounts throughout the year.
Our favourite thing about this store, however, is its online shop, which makes shopping sprees that much more satisfying and convenient. What’s even better is that they can get you your product within the same day if you live in Klang Valley.
It also helps that you can shop just about everything you need in relation to you being the best parent for your kids. From strollers to high chairs, baby bottles, bibs and everything in between, you can find them in their online store.
However, we did receive some reports from their previous shoppers that their customer service can be inconsistent at times. A handful of our interviewees praised their helpfulness and patience while others expressed their dismay.
A must-visit place for parents
“It is a great place, especially for first-time parents to go. My husband and I were served very quickly by the staff, Mr Ron. He asks about our needs and requirements and introduces the suitable products to us.
He is very patient and clear in explaining to us and showing us how to use the products, he even tells us and compares the variety of products pros and cons, so that we can choose the suitable products for our first baby.
We have gained a lot of knowledge from Mr Ron who is very experienced. They also provide service to customers to install the car seat. The price also is cheap compared to another place. Overall, it is a worth and must-visit place for parents!”

Mothercare is one of the most famous places to get baby clothes, strollers and other maternity tools in Malaysia. It’s a name synonymous with babywear because of the fame it garnered in different parts of the world.
One of the things we love about this place is its diverse selection of brands, allowing shoppers to pick products from names that they trust. The brands they carry here include household names like Gingersnaps, Philips Avent, Chicco and Mustela.
At first glance, it may seem like the store offers pricey items but we were surprised to find out how many steals they offer. For instance, they once offered sets consisting of 4 shirts and one pair of pants for under RM50, which we immediately bought during that time.
The only downside to this shop is its lack of food offerings apart from its snacks, which makes sense since they’re more of a clothing/equipment type of store. If you’re not looking for formulas, milk and other food mummies and babies, this is still a solid option.
Very satisfied
“I am very satisfied with my purchase today. Was looking for a baby carrier, it’s my first time having a baby, so we’re kinda clueless on the stuff we need to take into account to get a good carrier.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, she was explaining everything patiently. She even helped us to try on the carrier with our baby in it. She’s very polite, I forgot to get her name but thanks so much for helping us. Store fairly big can bring a stroller inside.”
