Klinik Tabib Thoo Lien Yin is an underrated TCM clinic in Melaka that deserves more recognition. This is mainly because of their talented team of practitioners who were noted by their previous clients during our interview as patient and gentle.
Some of our interviewees also highlighted how these professionals took the time to listen to what ails them before proceeding with the treatment.
We think the clinic charges low given the quality of its services. What’s more, we found that some of their clients agreed with us when we talked to them!
As for its downsides, the main one that bothers us is its lack of an official website, as it forces potential clients to call or visit just to learn about its services. Plus, having an official website would add more legitimacy to the clinic, in our opinion.
Also, we wish that they could extend their operating hours; they’re only open for 5 hours a day at the time of writing.

Origin TCM Healthcare is one of the most well-known traditional Chinese medical clinics in the city so we had to include it here. It’s not just because of its fame though, but also for its variety of treatments like cupping, Chinese herbal medicine and of course, acupuncture.
As for their acupuncture treatments, we can say that they have a great efficiency rate based on our interviews with their previous clients. One patient, in particular, noted how her pain caused by arthritis was greatly alleviated after her session with one of the clinic’s practitioners.
Speaking of, their practitioners are also highlighted by their previous clients as caring and courteous. They’re also known to be gentle with the needles, which is great if you’re a first-timer.
The only thing we’d change about this clinic is its slightly above-average price range. However, you could easily argue that you’re getting the best value for your money given the level of care they provide.

An Xin TCM was recommended to us by a friend because it’s where she first experienced acupuncture. She stated how she was scared at first but was immediately put at ease because of the friendly and gentle practitioners.
The biggest draw of An Xin TCM is its selection of practitioners, who each specialise in different TCM treatments. They’re also highlighted by their previous clients as being knowledgeable, with some even providing insightful recommendations after the session.
One of the things we appreciate about An Xin is how well they maintain their clinic, especially with its white floors and overall minimalistic interior. It doesn’t only benefit them aesthetic-wise, but it also allows patients to feel more welcomed and confident with their services.
However, we do want to note that their results are kind of a mixed bag. Some people were exhilarated that their body pain was greatly alleviated while others were dismayed, stating how nothing changed after their sessions.

Pusat Rawatan Traditional WSJ is another underrated acupuncture clinic in Melaka that was highly recommended to us by our friends.
One of the reasons for this was their quick-to-respond customer service. During our interview with one of their previous patients, he noted how he was able to book a schedule the next day after calling the night before.
Furthermore, their acupuncture session is notably quick as well but the results are long-lasting, based on what their patients had to say during our talk.
Another thing that stood out to us during these interviews was the professionalism of the clinic’s practitioners. They were noted as being welcoming to the point where first-timers will immediately feel their worries away.
Our only gripe with Pusat Rawatan is that it doesn’t have an official website.
While we appreciate their regularly updated Instagram and Facebook pages, they don’t feature things like the background of the clinic, info about their practitioners and their services, etc.In our books, these will help their clients know better about them.

The best thing about this clinic is undoubtedly its practitioners. Aside from being experienced and knowledgeable, they’re also praised by their previous clients as being welcoming, patient and courteous, which immediately makes them all the more trustworthy.
One situation that perfectly sums up their practitioners is when they thoroughly explain the process to the patient before the treatment itself. This way, they can mention anything that the patient can benefit from acupuncture and get them to feel warm and relaxed at the same time.
What’s more impressive is their success rates, as the clients we’ve interviewed have noted that the pain that’s been bothering them for so long was alleviated or at the very least, lessened.
The only thing we don’t like about this clinic is its lack of an official website, which could affect other people’s perspectives on their legitimacy. There’s just something when an establishment has a fully-fledged website that’s updated with all the info needed that makes it more legit.
