It did pay off, however, as we ended up with a definitive selection of the best construction companies in KL that offer reliable development services. So, if you’re looking to start your new home or business in the city, keep on reading!

The contractors of Aathaworld Sdn Bhd also work with professional construction workers. They were also praised for their courtesy throughout the project, often offering to take off their shoes before entering clients’ homes.
Our confidence in this construction company was further cemented by their portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Some of their works included factories, detached homes, and multi-level apartments.
Clients also highlighted the quality of workmanship poured into their homes, as they haven’t had any issues ever since the project was completed.
The only thing this company could improve is its responsiveness via phone and email, as it may take a while to reply to initial inquiries. Once locked in for a project, however, they show great communication skills by providing constant updates to their clients.

CK East Construction Sdn Bhd featured one of the most fleshed-out portfolios during our research, which is impressive considering they’ve only been around for 15 years. Their works consisted of sales galleries, bungalows, and more.
We also spoke to former business owners whose stores were built by this construction company, and they praised its workers and contractors for being easy to work with. They noted that the workers kept them in the loop at all times and maintained a positive attitude.
Previous clients also praised the CK East for their interior design services. They said they were able to turn their vision into reality thanks to the company’s attentive team members, who took their preferences and budgets into consideration.
We also learned from our interviews how the contractors provide an in-depth quotation for their construction services. Their fees are a bit steep, but at least they lay it all out, so clients will know what they’re paying for.

Desa Aman Construction Trading caught our attention with their expert waterproofing services. Our interviewees stated that their roofs were completely sealed after being serviced by Desa Aman’s workers, and have not received any repairs ever since.
We also appreciate the construction company’s expertise on all types of repairs, whether it be gutters, roofs, granite works, etc. Furthermore, previous clients stated that these repairs are done efficiently, with some noting that the workers complete them faster than expected.
Aside from their turnaround time, their customer service line response is also impeccable, with agents answering the phone immediately, even after office hours.
We’ve also seen their previous works in kitchen counters, and we were impressed with their elegant designs. They mostly use granite and marble, and the finishes we’ve seen were all seamless.
The only downside here is their slightly limited selection of services, as they don’t offer design conceptualisation, site construction, and other services typically offered by construction companies.

We also spoke to those who hired them to develop properties, and they had nothing but praise to share regarding the smooth process. For starters, they shared how their contractors would clearly explain the project, including the finalisation of the budget, before proceeding.
Clients also shared their appreciation for the transparent fee structure offered by the company before starting the project. Furthermore, their contractors would provide constant updates, from unforeseen costs to the process of the project, etc.
Previous clients were also proud to share with us how their properties were still in almost mint condition after several years.

When we saw China State Construction Engineering’s previous works, we knew we had to include them in this review. They worked on a myriad of residential and commercial properties, like apartments and detached homes for the former.
What we like about China State Construction, however, is their in-depth architectural design services. Clients highlighted the attentiveness of their staff member during this process, considering their budget and specific style during the consultation.
They also offer a one-stop solution, so clients can complete their homes with electrical and plumbing services before being finished.
Previous clients also bragged about the premium finish of their homes, and this is largely because of the high-quality materials sourced by China State themselves. With that said, our interviewees noted that they never had to repair anything done by China State.
The only bummer is that they’re unavailable on weekends, which is when most people have their free time.
