Renovation contractors have drilled one thing into me: concrete isn’t where you want to cut corners. A dodgy mix or rushed pour can come back as cracks, sinking, and one very annoying repair bill.
So I took their advice and looked for teams that seem to know their mix from their mess. Finding the best concrete contractor in Selangor still takes some digging, especially when every company claims to be solid.
I checked their experience, past projects, and the kind of concrete work they actually handle. Here are the contractors I’d shortlist before pouring a single slab.
How much does it cost to hire a concrete contractor in Selangor?
Concrete work in Selangor can cost around RM150 to RM450 per cubic metre for standard ready-mix supply. A full two-car porch job may cost about RM6,000 to RM12,000, including excavation and pouring.
Grade 30 ready-mix usually runs from RM199 to RM300 per cubic metre. Higher-strength Grade 35 or 40 concrete costs around RM232 to RM330 per cubic metre.
Timber formwork is about RM50 to RM80 per square metre. Reinforcing steel mesh can cost roughly RM4,900 to RM5,000 per tonne.
For smaller jobs, a 50kg cement bag is around RM18 to RM22. Cement screeding typically costs RM25 to RM50 per square metre.
Polished concrete flooring ranges from RM70 to RM150 per square metre. Concrete coring may cost RM200 to RM450 per hole or trip, depending on the size and job scope.

I like that they seem comfortable with the technical side too. Their industrial slab work uses reinforced concrete, BRC mesh, laser levelling, and proper slope control.
They also offer cementitious waterproofing and other membrane systems for areas where moisture is a concern. Warranty coverage varies by system, so it’s worth checking exactly what applies before signing anything.
The main downside is scheduling. They’re closed on Sundays and public holidays, so weekend projects need a bit more planning.

The original concrete floor was badly damaged, so they handled the full process from hacking and removing the old concrete, ground preparation and compaction, installing steel reinforcement mesh, concrete pouring, until the final power-floated finishing.

The catch is availability. If their listed hours are current, they’re closed on weekends, which can make Saturday or Sunday scheduling tricky.
