SME Wood Sdn Bhd offered some of the most impressive woodworks we’ve seen in Johor Bahru. We reached out to their previous clients, who were kind enough to provide photos, and we were pleased to see how each one looked premium.
The variety caught our attention as well, with our clients offering everything from kitchen cabinets to wardrobes, TV consoles, and even restaurant and cafe counters. We do wish that they could lend their expertise to complete renovations, but we can’t complain too much.
Clients also shared how they were able to get wooden accent walls customised by the carpenters. They highlighted how collaborative these pros were, as they engaged in the design process and offered recommendations.

We wanted to include CK Deco. & Furniture, despite their slightly limited services, for their high-quality woodwork. From what we’ve seen in our interviewees’ photos, their products look like they came from well-known furniture stores like IKEA because of their premium finishes.
Clients attributed the quality of their custom woodwork to the carpenters, noting how creative they were during the planning and execution stages of the project. They even recommended design ideas clients admitted they hadn’t considered, which is a testament to their expertise.
The variety of their woodworks is also impressive, offering countertops, cabinets, wardrobes, and TV consoles. Furthermore, they’d do the installations themselves. Unfortunately, this is where their service selection ends.
