Lover’s Bridge is a must-see when you’re in Tanjung Sepat. We took a stroll there during sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The bridge extends out into the water, offering panoramic views of the coastline.
While you’re there, you can also enjoy shopping at local product shops selling fresh seafood, traditional foods, and the famous local coffee and ‘pau’. There are plenty of parking spaces, making it convenient for visitors.
The area also has several eateries and a food court nearby where you can grab a bite. If you need a break, there are toilets available.
Visit Kuan Wellness Eco Park

Kuan Wellness Eco Park was a fantastic experience. We spent the day learning about organic farming, interacting with the animals, and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. The park is well-maintained, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
One of the highlights was the small petting zoo, where we had the chance to feed rabbits and deer. There’s a RM5 entrance fee per person, and you can buy food for the animals and fishes. The kids especially loved this part, and it was a delightful way to spend the afternoon.
Relax at the Pantai Cunang Beach

Pantai Cunang Beach was one of our favourite spots in Tanjung Sepat. The Mah Meri orang asli villagers maintain this beautiful white sandy beach, and their efforts really show.
We loved the contrast of the white sand above the water line and the muddy brown sand where it meets the sea. The beach is dotted with mangrove tree stumps, and there’s a dense grove of casuarina pine trees providing excellent shade.
The Mah Meri villagers have even built charming huts on the beach, which add to its unique character. We spent the day lounging in the shade, having a picnic, and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Explore the Local Markets

Exploring the local markets was one of our favourite activities. The markets are bustling with vendors selling fresh produce, seafood, and handmade goods.
We recommend checking out the Tanjung Sepat Wet Market, Pasar Awam Tanjung Sepat, and Pasar Nelayan Bagan Lalang. Each one is lively, offering a great way to experience the local way of life.

Wander around Pantai Batu Laut

We loved wandering around Pantai Batu Laut. The beach is located at Kampung Batu Laut and has a serene atmosphere with stunning views of the coastline.
The beach itself is a mix of mangrove swamps, grey mud, and soft sand, which is typical of this part of Selangor’s coastline. At low tide, the sea recedes far out, revealing soft muddy sand, mangrove stumps, and lots of crabs.
Opposite the beach, there are a few shops and a sailing centre, which adds to the charm of the area. The village spreads out inland, lined with plots of oil palms, banana trees, and other vegetation, creating a picturesque setting for a leisurely walk or a relaxing day by the sea.

Kwo Zha B Coffee is a must-visit spot for coffee lovers. When we stopped by, we enjoyed freshly roasted coffee that tastes just right. It’s a popular place, especially on weekends, and with good reason.
The shop has been run by three generations of the same family, keeping the authentic taste alive. The coffee shop owner is incredibly kind, and the service is great.
We found the coffee to be strong and reasonably priced, with the small size cup being quite generous.

Asam Batu Laut Restaurant is where you want to go for quick and fresh seafood. We were amazed at how fast the food was served – faster than most fast food places!
The seafood was fresh, and the dishes were simple yet delicious, all at reasonable prices. The dining area is large, with over 50 tables, so there’s plenty of space.
We also appreciated the ample parking and the toys kiosk that kept the kids entertained.

Ah Hock Seafood Bak Kut Teh is a great spot if you want to avoid crowds. The food tasted good, and we enjoyed the variety of side stalls, especially the oyster egg and muah chee – both highly recommended!
There’s also a snack store nearby selling biscuits, fish balls, and bahulu, which were great for picking up some local treats.

Yek Loong Enterprise is a fantastic place for fish processing products. When we visited, the owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the best ways to store fish paste to keep it fresh and tasty.
The prices are really reasonable, especially compared to what you’d pay in the city centre. If you’re looking to bring home some local seafood products, this is the place to go.

Arowana Malayan Food Industries is a food products supplier that many sub-wholesalers rely on. We had a great time exploring their factory, which produces chips in multiple flavours, including both normal and sweet banana chips.
The chips were delicious, and it was fascinating to see the production process up close. This is a great spot to stock up on tasty snacks.

Hocks House is a cosy 2-star, 3-storey guest house right by the Strait of Malacca. It used to be a residential building but now has an artistic atmosphere.
With 18 guestrooms and suites, each with an attached bathroom, it felt like a perfect blend of homey and unique. It’s only a 30-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, making it a super convenient city escape.
The views of the Strait were stunning, and it was such a relaxing spot to unwind!

Haikaa is nestled in the coastal residential area of Tanjong Sepat New Village, a charming Chinese new village with a focus on agriculture and sea life. This B&B-style serviced accommodation is about an hour and a half drive from the capital.
The design of Haikaa is all about natural ventilation and lighting, with a “patio” accompanying the main hall and two bedrooms. We loved how the main hall connected directly to the outdoor sea view, making it a perfect spot to relax.
The place can host 8-12 people, and it comes with everything you need – spare rooms, a kitchen, bathrooms, a hall, and a dining room. The BBQ setup is basic but gets the job done, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful!

Ganofarm Leisure & Homestay was a fantastic place to stay. This newly-built four-level building has 32 fully furnished rooms with all the amenities you’d expect – from a shower attachment and electric kettle to Wi-Fi and a TV.
The common kitchen on the ground floor is well-equipped with a microwave, gas stove, cooking utensils, and tableware.
One of our favourite parts was the seaside area, linked by a wooden bridge with amazing sunrise and sunset views. The on-site restaurant served delicious, freshly caught seafood, cooked in a natural “kampong” style at reasonable prices.
