When it comes to spending a memorable nightlife in Kuala Lumpur, you can always count on its nightclubs to keep you and your friends company. By no means am I a party animal, but I love to spend some Friday nights with my friends over some upbeat music and refreshing cocktails.
So, you can still count on me to recommend the best nightclubs in the city, as I’ve been to quite a lot. And let me tell you something: they’re a hit or a miss!

The nightclub has seen everything from local up-and-comers to established international artists such as Big Shaq, Kid Ink, Jazzy Jeff and more. So whether you’re into technopop, hip-hop or anything in between, you can expect to have a blast on this club’s dancefloor.
Furthermore, this underground nightclub is also beloved because of its wide array of cocktails, beers and spirits as well as its sleek interior design.

Spark Club KL

Spark Club is one of the newer additions to Kuala Lumpur’s ever-growing selection of nightclubs and we must say, it’s probably here to stay! For starters, its vibrant atmosphere is the immediate talk of the town, boasting crazy strobing lights accompanied by fun upbeat music.
These sounds are courtesy of their world-class acts, most notably, their DJs. These people really know how to keep the night alive with their bopping music!
We also love this nightclub’s world-class customer service! From the moment you step foot on its lavish dance floors, you’ll be well taken care of until you leave its doors buzzed.
Pro tip:
If you’re looking for a more traditional pub experience, we recommend checking out the next-door Donkey & Crow Irish Pub. It’s one of the best bars in Kuala Lumpur because of its lively atmosphere, delicious draft beer and amazing food.
Pitt Club KL

Nestled in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle is Pitt Club KL, one of the most immersive and innovative nightclubs in the country. We say this because everything from their sound system to their lights and LED screens is so advanced and ahead of other nightclubs in the city.
This kind of tech adds to the party experience that you can enjoy in this nightclub, as the sound will be crisper and they’ll be accompanied by bright strobing lights akin to light shows.
Of course, another huge reason why we love this place is its regular acts and DJs. We’re always impressed to see who they’ve signed on to perform every night, which is a huge win for us partygoers, as it means that we’ll have the time of our lives dancing all night.
Pro tip:
If you don’t want to rent a car or you simply want to save money by avoiding taxi rides, you can ride a bus and drop off directly at Life Centre Business Centre, which is where the club is located.
The Iron Fairies KL

The Iron Fairies is one of our favourite nightclubs in Kuala Lumpur because of its unique theme, which is a much-welcome change from the neon-lit designs. This nightclub features a fantasy-like theme and combines it with an iron ore mining site—I know, just go with it.
It features a dimly lit dance floor, but don’t be fooled! It’s just as lively as the other nightclubs that feature crazy laser-like lights.
This lively atmosphere comes in courtesy of their DJs, all of whom play thumping music that will force you out of your seats and into the dancefloor.
Pro tip:
If you’re looking to score a table, we recommend getting here as early as possible since it can get crowded quickly, especially during the weekends.
Gemu Club KL

Gemu Club KL is one of those places where you can expect to experience one hell of a fun time when you see it in person. It’s fitted with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems that will force you to jive, as every beat is accompanied by an action-packed light show!
It also helps that the DJs never fail to play infectious beats that will have you get up and going right after you enter the club’s doors.
If you’re worried about the drinks, however, you can leave your doubts outside, as you’ll get to treat yourself to a variety of cocktails in this nightclub. After all, everyone needs a little buzz before heading to the dance floor, right?

Before dancing your night away in this nightclub, consider stopping by the Pavillion, which is one of KL’s premier shopping centres.
Mantra Bar and Lounge

If expertly handcrafted cocktails are what you seek while clubbing, then Mantra Bar and Lounge should be right up your alley! Their bartenders will set you right with one of their creative alcoholic drinks, leaving you slightly buzzed but perfectly prepped for the dance floor.
You should also know that this place is one of the best rooftop bars in Kuala Lumpur, so expect to be treated to breathtaking views of the KL skyline while you’re dancing your hearts out!
We do want to say though that the dance floor here isn’t as big as the other ones found in other nightclubs in the city. However, they’re still able to book amazing acts from around the globe, so we can’t really complain!

Elixir Kuala Lumpur lives up to its name because, in our eyes, it’s a magical potion—one that’s sure to cure someone’s sadness. Here, you’ll be treated to a fun and vibrant ambience, courtesy of the upbeat music blasted by the talented DJs as well as the bright strobing lights.
You can enjoy both the light show and the music while sipping on your favourite cocktails! This is thanks to their master bartenders who know to make everything from margaritas to whisky sours and everything in between.

If you’re planning on commuting, the best thing you can do is ride the train and drop off at the Tun Razak Exchange. From there, you’ll just have to cross the street to reach Elixir Kuala Lumpur!
