Raju Hill Strawberry Farm: A Delightful Escape to the Hills
If there’s one produce that Cameron Highlands is most famously known for, it’s strawberries—as evident by its abundance of strawberry farms. However, no other place embodies being a haven for lovers of this fruit quite like Raju Hill Strawberry Farm.
It’s one of the best places to visit in Cameron Highlands and we’re here to tell you why. From what to expect to where to stay and eat nearby, we’ve got you covered!
Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family-friendly escapade or you just happen to love strawberries, here’s a guide to Raju Hill Strawberry Farm:
Best Time to Go
The best time to visit this farm is when the strawberries are ripe for picking, which is typically between December and February.
During this time, you’ll have a higher chance of taking beautiful photos and picking delicious sweet berries, regardless of their variations. Keep in mind, however, that these months are also considered the peak dates so expect to encounter denser crowds on the farm.
If you don’t want to encounter large crowds during your trip, we recommend visiting the farm from late October to November instead. This season may not be the best date for strawberry picking, but it does provide more pleasant weather—perfect for long walks!
Meanwhile, if you have no other available dates than the peak season, it’s a safe bet to visit during the weekdays.
Weather-wise, Cameron Highlands may encounter random rain showers throughout the year so it would be best to consult your handy weather app before visiting.

What to Do in Raju Hill Strawberry Farm
Chill by the farm’s cafe

One of the best ways to slow down time on the Raju Hill strawberry farm is by chilling at Raaju’s Cafe. It’s here where you can enjoy a variety of delicious pastries, cakes, shakes coffee and non-coffee drinks while admiring beautiful views of the farm and the surrounding areas.
Since this cafe is located on a strawberry farm, you can also expect it to offer dishes that make use of this sweet fruit. For instance, they offer a delicious strawberry milkshake which is the freshest and sweetest version you’ll ever taste in your life!
Bring home some delicious strawberry-based products

You can’t leave this farm without bringing home some of its freshly made strawberry-based products. These products range from jams to chocolate-covered strawberries that you can bring home to someone notorious for having a sweet tooth.
There’s also a teh tarik (tea packet) that incorporates the flavour of strawberries—yum!
Plus, the best thing about shopping here is that the prices won’t burn a hole in your pocket so you can buy tons of strawberry-based products!
Pick your own strawberries!
— Media credit: jol_lye
Of course, a trip to this farm wouldn’t be complete without handpicking some of its juicy strawberries. This is the reason why we recommend visiting during the peak season, as you’ll get to choose from a larger variety of these strawberries as opposed to just one or two species.
After carefully inspecting and picking your strawberries of choice, you can then weigh them at the counter and purchase them to bring home to your loved ones. You won’t just be paying for the strawberries but for the experience as well, so we must say that it’s well worth the price.
