Here, you can swim, get your summer tan or simply relax by the shore and enjoy the panoramic views. These views are some of the best you’ll find in PD, as it consists of the glistening sea and the surrounding hills and vegetation.

Aside from its breathtaking beaches, Port Dickson is also home to a handful of awe-inspiring feats of architecture—case in point, Wan Loong Chinese Temple. To provide a quick background, this temple was built to worship several deities including the Goddess of Mercy.

Today, it’s widely known as one of the most beautiful Chinese Buddhist temples in the country, and we’re not ones to argue with that claim! For starters, it features a popping colour scheme of red and yellow that’s synonymous with Oriental architecture.

Speaking of, the architecture features various Chinese motifs, one of which is the traditional dragon. Furthermore, the temple features various pools that house colourful fishes that are just begging to be taken photos of.

After exploring the temple, you can replenish your energy and treat yourself to delicious seafood delicacies at the nearby Yun Long Seafood restaurant. They offer amazing Chinese food like sweet and sour pork and of course, seafood like tiger prawns.

The Upside Down Art Gallery is an off-beaten attraction but it’s just as deserving to be included in your itinerary! This place houses tons of amazing artworks that will play with your perception through creative optical illusions.

Of course, one of the best attractions here is the titular upside-down section where you can live your dreams of becoming Spider-man and hang from the ceiling of creatively-themed rooms. Also, speaking of the web-slinging hero, you’ll also find him hanging around here!

One of our favourite attractions here is the artificial toilet, which is there so that you can take a photo of you and your friends’ heads popping out of the bowl.

The idea of space can both be terrifying and interesting at the same time but regardless of how you feel about it, you must visit Teluk Kemang Observatory. This modern observatory boasts some of the most sophisticated telescopes in the country.

This state-of-the-art equipment allows for close inspection of heavenly bodies, from planets to stars and even the Milky Way as a whole—talk about taking stargazing to the next level!

One of the main attractions of the observatory, however, is the 24-inch telescope which was acquired at the cost of 2 million Malaysian ringgits! It is worth it though, as viewers can see Saturn and Jupiter in all their glories—you can’t put a price on that!

Port Dickson Ornamental Fish Center is a conservatory that does a great job of showcasing PD’s amazing marine life. It’s easily accessible and admission is free, so there’s no real reason not to include it in your itinerary!

Here, you’ll find different types of fish, varying in shapes, sizes and colours. Arguably its biggest highlight, however, is its sea turtle display, which sees these adorable critters grow from hatchlings to adults.

Furthermore, you’ll be impressed with how healthy they keep their coral reefs, which also benefits the fish they house. Plus, all the tanks you’ll find here are spotless, allowing for unobstructed viewing!

If this attraction wasn’t enough to satisfy your wonder about the sea, you can walk towards Port Dickson beach after your visit! It’s only a couple of minutes away from the conservatory on foot and it will treat you to magnificent views of the sea.

The Port Dickson Army Museum will essentially let you travel back in time. This is thanks to its perfectly preserved artefacts from the different wars of the country’s past from the British colonial era to the 16th century Melaka state. 

There are a total of nine galleries inside and outside this museum, with each one featuring awe-inspiring pieces of history like tanks, planes, jeepneys and more. Aside from learning about them, you can also strike a pose in some of them!

Extreme Park (X Park) is one of the most exciting places to visit in Port Dickson because of its variety of fast-paced activities that can cater to every member of the family.

For starters, you and your loved ones can engage in friendly competition in some real-life Mario Kart (without the power-ups) through their massive go-kart track. If you want something more off-road, however, you can try riding one of their many ATVs through rough terrains!

Regina Mall is the premier shopping centre in Port Dickson so it’s only right to visit it before your trip ends and go on a shopping spree! Consisting of multiple stories, you’d have to allot a couple of hours to explore every shop it offers, from sports to gadgets, clothes, accessories and more.
