If you want to pair your sightseeing with something adrenaline-pumping, then the Flying Fox should be on your radar at the resort. It’s not hard to miss it too, as it’s the finale to the resort’s obstacle course—but more on that later.

The zipline isn’t that high up from the ground, but don’t be fooled! If you’re not used to heights, you’ll still get jelly legs as soon as you get on the starting platform.

Safety-wise, you’ve got nothing to worry about! Apart from the helmets and pads, they’ll put on you, the expert guides will give you the rundown of the do’s and don’ts before strapping you onto the harness.

Go down the slippery slides

One thing you’ll immediately notice with the resort’s public pool is the various slides that lead to it, and yes, every guest is free to use them! The only question is, are you ready to conquer your fears?

The biggest one out of the bunch is the gigantic slide and the starting point is about 3-storeys high. It will then take you to various twists and turns before dropping you into the brisk swimming pool.

Meanwhile, if you’re not ready to take on this big jump yet, there’s a smaller slide that’s just as thrilling to ride. Granted it’s not as high as the gigantic slide, but it still offers a quick burst of adrenaline for those looking to add more excitement to their retreat.

Arrange an exciting BBQ night

One of the reasons why we think Teduhan Langat Retreat is such a great value-for-money option is because each room/tent you rent comes with a barbeque pit access. Here, you can hold BBQ nights with your friends and family, as you converse throughout the night.

From chicken thighs to steaks, kebabs, corn on the cob or anything in between, you’re free to bring your own food here to grill without worrying about corkage fees!

Meet cute farm animals

When you book a stay in Teduhan Langat Retreat, you won’t be the only resident here! This is because the resort is also home to tons of cute and friendly farm animals that you’re free to see and interact with.

The animals you’ll find here include deer, goats, chickens and different types of birds like ostriches and peacocks. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll see these peacocks flex their colourful feathers for your photos!

They freely roam the resort and they’re well-trained so you can take pictures with them up close—just make sure not to disturb their peace!

Harvest fresh fruits

The resort’s farm is also home to tons of fresh produce that you can handpick yourself! Just advise the staff members on something that catches your eye and they’ll charge you depending on the type of fruit/vegetable and their respective weights.

The produce that you can pick depends on the season as well but the one that most people want is their fresh durian.

Conquer the obstacle course

Aside from the farm, the resort’s main draw is the multi-level obstacle course. It consists of 11 different courses, starting with the hanging bridge and the aforementioned Flying Fox zipline.

These courses will test your speed, agility, strength and of course, bravery! After all, not everyone can conquer multiple obstacle courses while being suspended several feet in the air.

Riverside Cottage

The Riverside Cottage is one of the best options for small groups and families in Teduhan Langat Retreat. It features a Kampung-style interior and exterior as well as modern amenities like BBQ pits, electric kettles, a stable Wi-Fi connection, a refrigerator and more.

Guests can also enjoy free breakfast meals during their stay in one of these cottages. However, the best part about staying here is that you’ll get to be right beside the peaceful Langat River 24/7.

Executive Studio

Meanwhile, if you prefer something more modern, we recommend staying at one of the resort’s executive studios. It’s located right above the multipurpose hall and it’s more on par with your usual resort suits that offer big comfy beds, air-conditioning, a fridge and a flat-screen TV.

It’s also spacious enough to house up to four people and the best part is that each guest is granted a simple breakfast with each stay.

Glamping Tents

Those looking to enjoy the ultimate outdoor experience without compromising comfort can stay at the resort’s elegant glamping tents. These tents come pre-pitched and are spacious enough to house up to three guests thanks to their single mattress and queen bed.

Each tent also comes with hotel-like amenities like refrigerators, air-conditioning units, electric kettles and TVs. Our favourite thing about staying in these tents, however, is it doesn’t break your connection with nature, as you’ll be surrounded by lush greeneries and the river.

Villa Suites

If you’re looking for something more “Bali-esque”, then the Villa Suites should be right up your alley! These chalets come with their own pools so you can enjoy a more private and relaxing swimming experience anytime you like.

These rooms are perfect for big groups and families, as they can accommodate 7 to 9 guests without compromising space. You just have to take it with the group to decide who’ll be sleeping on the sofa bed, mattress and queen bed.

Rumah Warisan

Rumah Warisan is the longhouse of Teduhan Langat Retreat, which consists of multiple rooms connected by a single balcony. We recommend it for families and friend groups that want to sleep in different rooms while being under the same roof.

Aside from offering the usual hotel-like amenities, this longhouse also features a private pool that guests can access 24/7. It also features common rooms like the dining area where guests can gather around for special dinners amidst the lush greenery.

Treehouse

Teduhan Langat Retreat is surrounded by tall trees and rather than cutting them down to make room for more rooms, they built a treehouse! This majestic piece of architecture is built on stilts so you can enjoy unobstructed panoramic views throughout your stay.

It offers more than just sightseeing too, as it treats its guests with a comfortable stay thanks to its spacious rooms and common areas. These rooms offer great value for money as well, as they come with air-conditioning, TVs, cooking facilities, etc.
