What to Do in SuperPark Malaysia

Race your friends at the Pedal Car Track

If you’re one to live on the fast lane, then you should put your racing skills to the test at their Pedal Car Track attraction. There’s one twist though, instead of using a motor, YOU are the engine, so your stamina and endurance will be put to the test!

It’s a great spot to have some friendly competition with your loved ones, as it’s equal parts fun and challenging. When we tried this attraction, we did a mini-tournament where the winner didn’t have to pay for dinner—spoiler alert: it wasn’t me.

The indoor track features a variety of sharp turns and angles, so you need to flex your maneuvering skills every now and then. You won’t have to worry though, as it doesn’t veer too much into being difficult since it’s designed for kids after all.

Score the highest points at Super Pinball

Super Pinball is essentially pinball combined with Football. Here, you’ll be presented with a room decorated to look like a gigantic pinball machine, complete with the holes you need to shoot the ball into to score massive points.

Speaking of the ball, instead of a teeny tiny white ball, you’ll be using an actual football. This means that you’ll have to be more active to play the game as opposed to playing the classic arcade machine that it’s derived from, which is an upgrade if you ask us.

It’s not as easy as it looks too, as you’ll have to angle your kicks correctly so that you can pass the ball through the various obstacle courses in the room. Then again, that’s where the fun comes from!

Break ankles and shoot 3’s

If you really want to break a sweat, then you and your friends should check out the basketball attractions inside this indoor park. There are a couple, but the first one we wanted to highlight is the street basketball area, where there’s nothing but a court for yourself and your friends.

There is another “arcade-y” type basketball attraction where you can test your shooting skills and score the highest among your friends. How this works is that every basket features a corresponding score, the higher the score, the harder the shot will be.

Have a bouncy fun time at Valo Jumo

Valo Jump is the perfect example of combining video games with physical activities. It’s one of the park’s many indoor trampolines and what sets it apart from others is that it’s accompanied by an immersive video game.

While you’re on the trampoline, there will be a huge screen in front of you simulating a platforming game akin to a Super Mario title. Your job is to jump at the exact moment that your character encounters an obstacle, so it’s almost like a virtual reality game!

There are other types of games that you can choose from too, so you won’t get tired of doing the same thing over and over—pretty neat!

Conquer the Clip and Climb wall

Another highlight here is the Clip and Climb, which is this indoor park’s version of a rock climbing wall. However, this time, instead of those plain artificial rocks that you’re accustomed to with this activity, you’ll be climbing a colourful panel with some gimmicks.

For instance, some of the grabbable objects here can rotate while others are tough to get to because they’re placed in these ball-like wall panels. It’s a tougher challenge for sure, but the reward is sweet, as you’ll get to rappel down the wall afterwards.

Go down the exciting tube slide

One of the best attractions that you can ride with your kids is the tube slide. As you may have gleaned from its name, it’s here where you and your little ones can strap onto a tube and slide down a crazy course filled with various turns.

What’s great about this slide is that it isn’t overly extreme, making it accessible for kids. At the same time, however, it’s not too slow to bore adults, so everyone wins!

Pull the sickest moves at The Trampoline

The Trampoline is one of the most famous attractions in the indoor park, and for some people, their main reason for visiting SuperPark in the first place. It’s a good thing it doesn’t disappoint too, as it’s indeed one of the most fun experiences you can try here.

Being able to jump this high again will bring back memories of you as a kid bouncing on funhouses. It was indeed a fun and nostalgic experience but with an added twist!

Since you’re grown-ups now, you can start pulling off flips and different kinds of tricks without scaring your guardians. Some of the staff members on the premises will even offer some tips on how to properly pull these tricks off.

Jumping around on trampolines for several hours can be quite the exercise, especially for us adults. Fortunately, the indoor park is located in the same building as Samba Brazilian Steakhouse, one of the best eat-all-you-can restaurants in Kuala Lumpur!

Granted that it’s on the pricier side, it’s not always you can have the luxury of eating unlimited premium steaks! We also love how these delicious slabs of meat are cooked to perfection, as they’re seasoned nicely and grilled to just the right doneness.

They also have a bunch of sides to go along these grilled pieces of meat like mashed potatoes, pasta, grilled pineapple and more! You can even end your meal on a sweet note by grabbing one of their desserts (pro tip: go for the Brazilian creme doughnuts).

Urbean @ Avenue K

If you’re looking for someplace you can wind down after a day full of activities, then Urbean @ Avenue K should be right up your alley! This cosy cafe will instantly relax you with the smell of freshly ground coffee beans from their bar and their overall laid-back ambience.

The aroma is courtesy of the different types of coffee that they’re whipping up behind the counter, which are also the best highlights of this shop. They serve everything from mocha to long black, lattes and more—an authentic coffee house through and through.

They also serve an impressive selection of non-coffee drinks like freshly pressed juices, which are perfect after a long tiring day full of activities. Furthermore, you can also pair your drinks with one of their brunch meals like their pesto chicken mayo sandwich—yum!

Canopy Lounge Rooftop Bar KL

Address: 183, Jln Mayang, Kampung Baru

Website

Canopy Lounge Rooftop Bar is one of the best nightlife spots in KL and it’s the perfect place to cap off a day filled with fun activities. For starters, they serve a wide variety of Western dishes, one of which is our all-time favorite, their “Feel Good Burger”.

Consisting of a big fat patty, some onions and a slice of melted cheese, this is what I picture when I think of the perfect burger. It also comes with a side of delicious fries complete with homemade ketchup.

Of course, it should go without saying that they also serve a plethora of alcoholic drinks as well, from cocktails to beer, whiskey and more. This selection of drinks, paired with the upbeat music and the view of the majestic KL skyline, is what makes it a perfect nightlife spot.

NZ Curry House

If you’re looking for some authentic Indian food in the area, the best place you can check out is NZ Curry House. They serve some of the most delicious curries we’ve tried in the capital, but the main highlights from their menu are the mee goreng and nasi kandar.

They also serve this wacky dish called the roti tissue, which is essentially a roti canai tower that’s shaped like a cone. It’s a great dish to order for taking photos or just for the experience—plus, it goes well with their delicious curries!

Another reason why we recommend this spot is because of its location. It sits in the heart of the city right in front of the world-famous Petronas Towers, so you can check off sightseeing and eat delicious dishes from your to-do list in one destination.

Fuel Shack KLCC

Address: Lot No. F201 , Level 2 Menara Berkembar Petronas, Persiaran Petronas
Phone: +60 3-2181 8148
Pricing: $
Website

Fuel Shack is one of the best spots to check out if you’re not looking for anything fancy and just want to refuel (see what we did there?) your body with some lip-smacking grub. They claim to be the best burger joint in KL, and we’ve got to say, they’ve got a strong case for that argument.

For starters, their patties aren’t dry and are cooked with the perfect doneness. Furthermore, the buns are lightly slathered with some margarine, which adds another layer of flavor to the dish and helps develop the crispness of the buns at the same time.

We can also see that all the ingredients they use are fresh since the burgers are being assembled on the counter. Lastly, if you want our advice, we recommend getting a side of cheese fries with your burger, you won’t regret it!

Starting with the rooms, each of them features a complete set of amenities everyone needs for a comfortable stay but made way more fancier. For instance, the en-suite toilets and baths come with an elegant bathtub as well as a view of the beautiful KL skyline.

Our favourite thing about this place, however, is the roof deck swimming pool, which provides unmatched panoramic views of the capital. Also, it’s worth noting that this hotel is located just across the road from SuperPark.

It doesn’t feature any fancy facilities, but it makes up for it with its prime location. This is because aside from being near SuperPark Malaysia, this boutique hotel is also located near other attractions in Kuala Lumpur such as restaurants and cafes.

Crown Regency Serviced Suites is one of the best value-for-money options you can find near SuperPark Malaysia, or at least in comparison to other hotels in the city center. It offers a more homey atmosphere as opposed to your regular hotel rooms, which is its biggest selling point.

This is great because it comes with facilities that you wouldn’t typically find in hotels like a fully-functional kitchenette. We can see this being handy for those times when you just want to save money by preparing your meals as opposed to eating out or ordering room service.

What’s impressive about this place is that it still offers hotel-like amenities like its swimming pool. Granted that it’s not as grandiose as other roof deck pools in the area, it’s still nice to have this kind of luxury, especially considering how cheap the rooms are.
