Ever dreamt of living the island life, even just for several days? Then a summer trip to Pulau Beras Basah should be on your itinerary when you’re here!
Famously known for its pristine waters and lush greenery, Beras Basah Island is the epitome of untouched beauty! Luckily, you can be one of the lucky few to visit this hidden gem, so join us in this guide, as we take a closer look at what you can expect on your visit.
We’ve rounded up every important piece of info that you may find handy for your adventurous trip to this island. From the best time to go to activities to try and more, we’ve got everything you need to know!
Best Time to Go
The best time to go to Pulau Beras Basah is during the dry season, so you can enjoy soaking in the sun while cooling down in the island’s beautiful waters. Furthermore, this weather also ensures that the seas are calm and activities like snorkelling and diving will be available!
This season runs from October to April, which are also the prime months to visit the island so expect to encounter other people during your trip.
If you don’t want to go with the crowd, the next best thing is to visit during the shoulder season (May and September). These months may encounter rain showers here and there, but you’ll get to enjoy a more peaceful experience—and hopefully, cheaper rates!
Lastly, we don’t recommend visiting during the monsoon season, which runs from June to August. During these three months, the seas will be much rougher and rainfall will be more frequent, making it ideal to visit a tropical destination such as this.
