Ehsan’s Vista Alam, a Pakistani restaurant, is a great spot for hanging out mamak-style while indulging in some delicious naan cheese. One thing to keep in mind though is to go early, especially on weekends, because they tend to sell out fast.
We tried their capati, which was pretty nice, especially with the chicken curry and lamb keema. If you’re looking for some tasty Pakistani food in a laid-back setting, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Plaza Shah Alam is a pretty big shopping mall, but we noticed there are quite a few empty spaces around. I guess it’s because the building is older compared to other places in Shah Alam.
Still, you can find all your essentials here, and the prices are pretty good too. If you’re not a fan of crowded malls and you like having lots of options, Plaza Shah Alam is a good choice.
They’ve got stuff for every budget, from basic to a bit fancier. And when it comes to food, there’s a bit of everything — you can find dishes from all over the place, which is pretty neat.

PKNS Complex Shah Alam is basically a shopping mall, but it’s got a lot of stuff for Malay traditional wear like baju melayu and baju kurung, plus all the accessories you need for Raya.
And if you’re hungry, they’ve got you covered with all sorts of food options – local cuisine and fast food. There’s also a food court if you’re feeling indecisive.
It’s worth noting that this place is run by the state government, and during the week, it’s pretty busy with foreign workers coming to renew their permits at the immigration office inside.
They’re doing some renovations here and there, but it doesn’t really get in the way. And across from the mall, there’s a nice garden and some parks if you want to take a breather from the shopping hustle.

Ole Ole Shopping Centre is a pretty basic mall, but it’s got some cool stuff. If you’re into bowling, they’ve got a cheap alley there, which is fun.
As for shops, there’s not a huge selection – mainly some clothing stores and a few restaurants. Parking’s not bad either – you can valet for RM3, which is convenient, or there’s plenty of space at the back.

ST Rosyam Mart is a massive supermarket that has everything you could possibly need. What’s cool is they offer stuff in bulk too, which is great if you need to stock up.
And get this – they’re open 24/7! So whenever you need to grab groceries, you know where to go. Plus, there’s tons of parking right out front, so it’s super convenient.
We were also impressed by all the local products they had, especially the fresh veggies and meats. Turns out, a lot of it comes straight from the owner’s farm, so you know it’s top quality.
