Soru Station is one of those places where you can go if you’re on a tight budget but still want to indulge in delicious food (that will be a running theme on this list). They serve many local and international dishes with massive serving sizes—a real bang for your buck!
One of our favourites from their menu is their classic beef burger, which features a homemade beef patty along with some slices of cheese and the best part, black pepper sauce. They also serve an elevated version of a Ramly burger, which is a famous Malay street food.
Now if you’re hungry as a horse after a day full of activities in Kota Damansara, the best meal to order is their mixed grill platter. Featuring a messy plate of assorted grilled meat and a side of fries, this dish will satisfy both your tastebuds and your hunger.

As you may have gleaned from its name, Uma Bali is the go-to place for all things Balinese cuisine. It’s a bit of a fancy restaurant so expect to pull out more cheese than expected, but don’t worry though, as your money will be well-spent!
The main highlight of this restaurant is, of course, the dishes, which by the way, are made using the freshest ingredients. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes, but you must order their bestselling BBQ pork ribs, which are grilled to perfection!
What makes these grilled ribs stand out from usual Western joints, however, is the use of fresh herbs and spices that are usually featured in Balinese cuisine. This is also true for their other dishes such as the fried duck and lamb.
Pro tip:
If you’re visiting with a group, we recommend ordering their set meals to help you save money and get as many dishes from their menu as possible. These platters usually come with a selection of grilled meat, from satays to chicken, ribs and more.

For those days when you just want to enjoy some good fried chicken, stopping by Seoul Chicken Sunway Giza Mall will be one of the best decisions you can make. Here, you can indulge in Korean fried chicken, drenched in different lip-smacking sauces!
You can easily order anything from their menu and you won’t be disappointed but if you want to try our favourite, we recommend getting the Yangnyeom flavour. This classic Korean fried chicken flavour perfectly mixes sweetness and spiciness—yum!
Aside from their amazing flavours, another reason why we love eating here is because of the fried chicken itself! They’re huge and crunchy, and the tender interior does a great job of absorbing the different sauces that the restaurant offers.
Pro tip:
Be sure to order a side of freshly steamed rice, as they’re the perfect accompaniment for these chunks of marinated chicken fillets. Meanwhile, if you want your rice to have that added kick to it, you have to get the kimchi rice!

Whenever there’s a rainstorm in the area, one of my go-to places is Omega Pork Noodle, and it never disappoints! Their hearty bowls of pork noodle soup won’t only warm your souls but they’ll also satisfy your tastebuds and hunger because of their amazing flavours and huge portions.
Our favourite thing about dining here is the different options they provide for their dishes, allowing for a more personalised order. For instance, they’ll let you choose which type of noodle you want to get from vermicelli to pho, yellow noodle and more.
You can also choose which ingredients to add to your noodles which greatly affects the overall flavour of the dish! Our favourite add-ons are the eggs and crispy pork lard just because of their rich flavours and interesting textures.
Pro tip:
If you’re visiting with a plus one, we recommend getting two big bowls so you can taste each other’s choice! Plus, it’s better value for money as opposed to getting two small bowls.

Of course, you can’t have a list of the best restaurants in Kota Damansara, without including a hotpot spot. Fortunately, this township features a Da Long Yi Hotpot branch, which is one of the premier hot pot restaurants in the world!
One of the things we love about this place is that it features a solid selection of options, from their broths down to their meat, side dishes and more. They also offer massive sets for their chicken, seafood, pork and beef, all of which are worth trying out.
Plus, there’s just something satisfying about dipping thin slices of pork into a boiling broth that we can’t get enough of!
Pro tip:
If you’re craving for something sweet after your hotpot experience, we recommend ordering their deep-fried mini buns! It’s a dish consisting of mantou (Chinese buns) that are served alongside condensed milk.

Additionally, they also serve a wide array of specialty coffee and tea! So if you’re looking for a great cafe that offers good food as well as a relaxing ambience, consider coming here.

You can’t leave Malaysia without trying out some of its seafood delicacies, and for this need, we recommend checking out any Shell Out branches across the country. Fortunately, there’s one in Kota Damansara so you can tick off “seafood feast” from your things to do in Selangor checklist.
This restaurant brings the flavour of those tangy seafood boils made famous in Louisiana here in the country and we’re all for it! Whether you’re looking for king crabs, prawns, clams or anything in between, you’ll find them drenched in a spicy and mildly sweet sauce here.
Once these seafood delicacies are poured onto your table from the plastic bag, be ready to dig in with your hands. Be careful though, as it will get messy, but hey, that’s part of the fun!

Nasi Ahmad is one of the best spots to check out in Kota Damansara if you’re looking to be immersed in the country’s cuisine. They offer a plethora of local dishes here but their forte is definitely nasi kandar, which is essentially a plate of steamed rice drenched in curries.
Here, you can choose your source of protein (chicken or squid). Regardless of which one you get, however, do prepare yourself for a kick courtesy of the curries, but hey, if it doesn’t make you sweat, they’re not doing it right!
Aside from nasi kandar, we also recommend getting their mutton and fish curry! These dishes pair perfectly with both their yellow and white rice, which are also the perfect vessel for the flavours of the curries.
Pro tip:
Bring a face towel or a handkerchief when you’re dining here! The place doesn’t feature any air conditioning and the spicy food is sure to make you break a sweat.

Arabica Restaurant is one of the best Middle Eastern joints in the township that offers the most authentic dishes. Every staple from this vibrant cuisine can be found in this restaurant, whether it be hummus, chicken mandy rice, chicken kebab or anything in between.
What makes it stand out from other Middle Eastern restaurants, however, is its massive portions. You can easily feed your entire family here without spending much money by ordering one of their generous platters like the flaming set, which consists of various kebabs.
On top of these kebabs, you can also indulge in either their rice, bread or fries or even all of them! If that’s not enough value for money for you, then you should know that this set also comes with 6 drinks of your choice—now that’s a steal!
Pro tip:
Want to end your meal on a sweet note and wash away the meat flavour from your mouth? Then you should order their delicious fine cheese kunafah!
