11 Indoor Playgrounds in KL That Offers Countless Hours of Fun
You know what I love most about Kuala Lumpur? It’s home to tons of family-friendly activities!
From kid-friendly cinemas to theme parks, pockets of nature and more, you name it, this city has it! However, if you ask your kids where they want to spend their day, they’ll most likely answer the playground.
Luckily, this is your chance to become the coolest parent ever, as you can take them to one of KL’s indoor playgrounds! The best thing about these indoor playgrounds is that adults can have fun in them as well.
So if you’re looking to spend some quality time with your family, look no further! Below is a curated list of our favourite indoor playgrounds that we’re sure both kids (and kids-at-heart) will absolutely love.

It’s not hard to see why KidZania is at the top of many local’s lists given its sheer variety of things to do and attractions. Instead of being a traditional playground, where you can slide into ball pits and go on swings, this place lets your kids tap into their potential through role-playing.
Here, your kids can jump into the shoes of different professions, from pilots to firefighters, cashiers, surgeons and anything in between. The park does a great job of immersing kids into these roles by letting them put on a costume and putting them in realistic sets.
For instance, firefighters will have their own trucks and can do things like rappelling down buildings. Meanwhile, cashiers will be in charge of cute grocery stores filled with realistic-looking products!
Pro tip:
Book your tickets through third-party online channels like Klook to enjoy discounted rates! You can either book day passes or admission tickets, but we recommend the former because it offers better value for money.

The park offers tons of activities and games, from rock climbing to sliding, go-kart riding and more! They even feature advanced technology to incorporate into their games like the Super Teng Teng where you’d have to avoid light boxes to win.
There’s also a cool pedal car track where you and your loved ones can live life on the fast lane—and even go on friendly competitions! Meanwhile, if you just want to go on trampolines and get crazy air time, there’s a freestyle area where you can just bounce and play.
Pro tip:
One of the fastest and cheapest ways to get to SuperPark Malaysia is by riding the train and dropping off at the KLCC Tram Station. From there, you only have to walk for a minute or so to reach the indoor playground.

We love when playgrounds make an effort to follow a theme and Jungle Gym is definitely up there among the best ones that do this. As you may have gleaned from its name, this place will immerse you and your kids in a vibrant tropical jungle setting!
Its theme isn’t the only thing worth highlighting about it too, as it features one of the most diverse selections of attractions we’ve seen. Here, both adults and kids are welcome, as it offers everything from slides to ball pits, bridges and even go-kart tracks!
We particularly love the tube slide, as it replicates the feeling of going down on those massive slides found in water parks. Furthermore, there’s also this cool neon-lit slide that is sure to leave you walking in curved lines afterwards.
Pro tip:
If their location in Bangsar is out of your way, you can also check out their branches at Berjaya Times Square, KL East Mall and Atria Shopping Gallery. Their branch at Berjaya is an extra special one because it features a roller coaster!

Little Pirates Playland is one of Kuala Lumpur’s newest additions to its ever-growing selection of indoor playgrounds, and it’s safe to say that it’s here to stay! For starters, it features one of the biggest play areas we’ve seen in any playground, spanning over 16,000 square feet.
This huge play area is dotted with playground facilities that can be appreciated by both adults and kids. From ball pits to slides, swings, obstacle courses and more, this playground has everything to keep you and your little ones entertained for several hours.
One of our favourite areas here, however, is the zip line. Here, your kids can experience a short but fast zip-line ride over a foam pit, so they can let go whenever they want!
Pro tip:
If you want to extend the fun and expose your little ones to beautiful natural sceneries, you can head to Bukit Jalil Recreational Park after your time at Little Pirates Playland! It’s located just outside the mall, and you can do fun activities here as well such as jogging and cycling.

Edutainment is a term that’s loosely being thrown around when it comes to talking about indoor playgrounds, but we think that The Parenthood does it best alongside KidZania. This place perfectly blends fun with knowledge by featuring both reading areas and playground facilities.
The learning area is perfect for younger children, as it helps them develop their knowledge at such an early stage in their lives. However, they can still have fun after a bit of reading by enjoying the park’s slides, ball pits, zip lines and obstacle courses!
We also love the overall London theme of the place, as it’s evident from the streets to the cars and various attractions. Furthermore, there’s also a fantasy-themed castle where kids can live out their fairy tale dreams!
Pro tip:
Consider this place if you have kids who are gamers, as they also have a separate section for gaming consoles! More specifically, they feature Microsoft’s latest Xbox consoles that each come with fun single and multiplayer games.
Starship Galactica

- Weekday: RM42

When it comes to scale, Starship Galactica is definitely up there among the greats, as its play area spans across three storeys—how crazy is that? What’s more impressive is that this massive play area doesn’t have any fluff, as it features tons of games and attractions to try.
It features massive ball pits, stomach-turning slides, bridges, foam pits and anything you can think of. We also love how it features an overall space theme that further immerses the play experience of kids, letting them unleash their full creative potential.
The entire three-storey play area can also be explored freely, as it features great verticality. Upon reaching the top, you’ll find more attractions such as zip-lines and even more obstacle courses.
Pro tip:
While your kids are having a blast in Starship Galactica, you can wind down at the playground’s cafe and sip on some good cup of joe while conversing with other parents. Don’t let this fool you into thinking that you can’t play with your kids at the playground though!
KF Kiddy Circuit

Contact details: +60 12-265 9249
Operating hours: Daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Price:
- One ride: RM35
- 3 rides combo: RM105
- 5 rides combo: RM175
If your kids are a bit too old for the playground, then KF Kiddy Circuit should be right up your alley! Don’t worry if you have younger kids though, as they can still feel the excitement of this playground as long as you’re in the driver’s seat, of course.
This indoor racetrack is sure to get you and your loved ones’ blood pumping after a fast (but safe) ride. You won’t have to worry about safety here since the engine of these karts is limited to 8km/h and the track itself is surrounded by padded barricades.
All you have to worry about is the track’s curves and turns you have to navigate your karts to, but hey, that’s all part of the fun! Speaking of the track, we also love how it spans multiple levels, adding more challenge and excitement to the racing experience.
Pro tip:
Check out Klook before visiting this racetrack! They’ll sometimes hold combo tickets that will let you enjoy multiple rides at an affordable price.

The Bomb Battle is another indoor attraction that the whole family can enjoy because of its fun, exciting and inclusive games. These games include puzzles, mazes and more, but what sets them apart is that when the time runs out, you and your company will be blasted with paint.
You can think of it as an escape room, minus the scary themes and the investigative sections, but don’t be fooled because you need to work together just as much. For instance, there’s a game where you have to work together to decrypt a code as fast as possible.
However, our favourite one out of them all has got to be the Laser Maze. This game will test your flexibility, as you’ll have to avoid a series of lasers pointed at a wall—trust us, it’s not as easy as it seems!
Pro tip:
You can treat yourselves to lower rates if you visit during off-peak hours (Monday to Friday before 5:00 PM).

VAR Live offers a unique type of indoor playground where traditional slides and swings are replaced with state-of-the-art virtual reality equipment. Don’t worry though, as you’ll still experience the same physical fun albeit a tamer one.
This virtual reality theme park features tons of titles that will transport you to different worlds, whether they be fantasy, sci-fi or anything in between. A perfect example of this is their Viking Craft game, where you’ll be transported to the land of Norse Mythology and fight waves of foes.
There’s also plenty of zombie games, where you and your friends have to shoot your way through the undead using light guns. Aside from the visceral graphics of blood and guts, these games also feature impressive ambiences that truly makes your spine tingle.

If your idea of a playground is brightly-lit and loud arcade machines, then Fun Factory should be on your family’s radar! Everyone in the family can enjoy something in this arcade thanks to its wide selection of games, ranging from kid-friendly titles to horror-themed shooters and more.
Grown ups can also enjoy a variety of racing games that features realistic graphics and haptic feedbacks. Furthermore, the arcade is also equipped with modern games like Dance Dance Revolution where you and your loved ones can showcase your sick moves!
If those aren’t enough reasons to entice you, then you should know that this place also features a roller skating rink!

We feel like Big Bounce Park doesn’t get enough praise, as people are quick to write it off as your typical bouncy castle, which can’t be further from the truth. First off, classifying it as a bouncy castle is a huge understatement, as “inflatable world” is a more fitting description!
It features a huge play area that’s dotted with ball pits, inflatable slides, mazes and more! We also love how it features various obstacle courses that force kids to crawl, jump and squeeze into tight spaces, as it allows them to exercise without them even knowing.
The various bouncy castles found here also feature different themes, which we thought was pretty cool. For instance, one features your typical bubblegum-looking castle while another one follows a more tropical theme, complete with sunglass-wearing gorillas.
Pro tip:
If you want to extend the fun, you’re in luck because Berjaya Times Square features an indoor theme park, a bowling alley and an archery range!
