What we love about Coley is what it brings to the cocktail scene in Bangsar. To create delicious cocktails with fun flavours, owner Kho Chee Keong has worked alongside head bartender Loco Rockefeller.
Some of these cocktails include the Canes Old Fashioned (a unique take on Rum Old Fashioned), Gin & Coconut (a yummy mix of gin, coconut water, and a hint of lime), and the Peanut Butter & Jelly (a tequila-based concoction that tastes like classic PB&J).
Overall, Coley hits all the right notes when it comes to flavour. They even feature delicious meals that go with their delightful drinks.
Still, we’re a bit iffy about the place’s opening hours. The hidden bar is only open from 5:00 P.M. to 1 A.M., a much shorter time than other bars in the area.
There’s also the matter of pricing as the hidden bar is a bit more on the pricier side of things. Though, in our opinion, the prices are worth it once you try their famous signature cocktails.

“Amazing speakeasy cocktail bar that our close friends took us to. Would have never guessed that there was a higher end place here. Very casual and relaxed, and popular! Suggest calling ahead to see if they can take you before walking in during peak times.
Drinks on the pricier side but they’re happy to recommend something based on how you’re feeling. They have non-alcoholic and some food options as well.

“The local cocktails are amazing, my favourite so far is the jambu one but the absinthe melon cocktail is also great.
Pleasantly surprised to find that the food is really good too. Got the crab burger since I was thinking of getting a bite and wasn’t disappointed.

Kedai Nombor 7 is another hidden gem that’s located just in the southern area of Bangsar. First opened in 2019, Kedai Nombor 7 has made it through the COVID-19 lockdowns to make its name as an exceptionally wonderful hidden bar.
As far as the “hidden” aspect of hidden bars goes, we’re pretty impressed with Kedai Nombor 7. The entryway to the bar is an unassuming refrigerator door that seems to be an appliance of the bar’s front area.
You’ve got plenty to choose from when you’re in the bar. Kedai Nombor 7 offers a rich variety of whisky, liqueurs, beer, and wine.
But the thing that excites us the most is Kedai’s cocktails. Aside from the typical cocktails, Kedai also has the most exquisite signature cocktails on its menu.
Maybe you’re in the mood for a familiar taste with the Milo Number 7, a perfect combination of Milo, Jim Beam, and Cointreau. For a drink that has a great balance of flavours, and a cute name to boot, try out their Pink Dilemma.
Honestly, we think that there’s a lot to love about this hidden bar. The variety of drinks and food, the “hiddenness” of the bar, and the awesome customer service we’ve seen.
One thing we do have a small note on is the overall ambience. It could use a little more work to make it a place where people want to relax and have a drink.

“An extraordinary pub in an ordinary neighbourhood.. When my friend first brought me there, I though it’s just another pub, yet I was attracted by the name of the pub and I was touched by the story behind it.
I guess most of the pubs are more or less the same, but Kedai No. 7 gave me a lil add on by the pub owner Nara, his sincerity, enthusiasm and keep wanting to make this neighbourhood pub a better place for his regulars and new customers amazed me. Nara is a pretty good observant, he knows his customers and their liking.
Words can’t give you experience, you should drop by this place to experience it yourselves! Whether you are coming with a group of friends, family or some ‘me time’.. Kedai No. 7 is definitely a place for you to explore.

THREE X CO is a picturesque hidden bar in the famous Bangsar Shopping Centre. Chosen as part of Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2021, this hidden bar promises exciting cocktails, veteran staff, and a cosy ambience.
Opened in 2017 by three founders, THREE X CO has continued to be innovative with its drink selection. This is most likely due to one of the founders, David Han, being a multi-award-winning mixologist– something that’s a plus in our books!
The choice of drinks in THREE X CO are endless. There’s a great mix of cocktails that are inspired by oriental and local flavours, and cocktails that feature the owner’s personal twist on classic flavours.
We also love that some drinks are customizable. Just ask any of their knowledgeable bartenders first if the brand you have in mind fits the drink you want them to make.
In terms of prices, we find that THREE X CO’s menu can be a little expensive. The average price of a cocktail is around RM45 to RM50.
But ultimately, we believe that this hidden bar’s prices reflect the high quality of what they offer. The menu, the ambience, and the experience of going to THREE X CO are definitely worth any price.

Although we think the drink options are a bit limited, you can still find something you like. Wizperz has a great selection of beers and cocktails, perfect for a fun and upbeat time with friends.
Now, we say “upbeat” since Wizperz Bangsar is a lot livelier than the other entries in our list here. The bar holds a lot of fun parties and other themed events with special deals for their drinks.
Honestly, this is one of the best bars for a night out with friends since it’s still relatively hidden from the public eye.
Aside from the bar’s selection of drinks, they also offer full meals that we find to be delicious and filling. You have full meals like pizzas alongside the usual snacks that most bars offer to their patrons.
Other than that, we find that the ambience can sometimes be lacking because of the interior’s lighting. It can also be hard to talk to people around you because of the loud music.
Still, we consider Wizperz Bangsar to be a standard of classic bars but even better since it has a slight secrecy to it.

“Been to Wizpers twice already and I enjoyed both my visits! Service from waiters were exceptional. Not to mention the owners were extremely hospitable, friendly and extremely professional! Song selections played were very good and catered to my liking. Food prepared by Chef Gary was fantastic. We also think that the ambience in The Cabinet sets the mood for what is guaranteed to be a superb experience. The unique warm lighting in the bar adds to its “hidden” feeling, making it the perfect hidden bar.
With a great variety of options for drinks, you can really choose to enjoy any drink on its own or with a good cigar. Veteran staff can recommend pairings for cigars and whiskey, a proper cocktail for your mood, and even a delicious glass of wine.
The Cabinet’s drink offerings are definitely worth the price. We honestly think that this hidden bar is a bit more on the pricier side, but that’s a guarantee given the amazing options for its patrons.
